The MSE Charity - Grants Open

Grants are given to help educate and inform people about financial literacy, consumer or debt issues. The Life Changing Transitions round focuses on building financial capability skills and assisting groups who support bereavement, redundancy, retirement, relationship breakdown, homelessness, offenders and resettlement.

Deadline 28 February. Only the first 40 applications will be considered so apply early.

Youth Scotland Rural Action Fund
The Youth Scotland Rural Action Fund is a Micro Grant fund being supported by The Robertson Trust and The Gannochy Trust. It will make small awards to enable youth groups operating in rural communities to provide more and/or better youth work opportunities for young people. Deadline 6 March.   Read more


Grants to Protect Biodiversity and Ecosystems

Outdoor clothing company Patagonia has funding for projects that address the root causes of environmental problems. Small, grassroots, activist organisations around the world, working on action-led and multi-pronged campaigns to preserve and protect biodiversity and the environment, can apply for grants to run projects that protect local habitats. Application deadline is June 30 2020.

The Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust now open

Four grant rounds will open throughout the year, each with slightly different criteria and priorities. In 2020, Grant Rounds 1 and 2 are focussed on music and the arts and will support projects focussing on improving opportunities and access for people with one or more of the following: physical disabilities learning disabillities mental health difficulties.

Esmée Fairbairn Foundation – revised strategy update

The Esmée Fairbairn Foundation will launch their revised strategy in May 2020 which sees them continue to make social investments, and maintain their commitment to supporting organisations with core and unrestricted grants. Applications under their current strategy will remain open until 3 April 2020.
