Flotta Men's Shed

Flotta Mens Shed and Gardening Association have set up an association based on Flotta and open to all residents on Flotta. The aim currently is to achieve charitable status. The main aim is the community welfare, physical wellbeing, mental wellbeing, through activities based around common policies of the Mens Shed philosophy. The aquisition of a Mens Shed. Aligned with the mens shed is the Gardening Association which has the same aims in relation to welfare, but based on gardening activities on Flotta. The aquisition of a Polycrub with individual boxes on ground level and raised boxes for those with disabilities, allowing residents to grow fruit and vegetables all year round.
