Health Walks are short, safe, social, local, low level, regular walks led by trained walk leaders and are aimed at people who want to improve their health and wellbeing by becoming more active through walking. Walks are free to take part in and open to everyone. Orkney Walking Groups are always on the lookout for volunteers (18 years and over) with good local knowledge and community links who are willing and able to lead regular health walks in their local area. All walk leaders receive ongoing training and support. For more information on the health and wellbeing benefits of walking, Orkney Health Walks or becoming a Volunteer Health Walk Leader email jessicajones@nhs.net or telephone Jessica Jones on 01856 888180
