We manage the community rooms of the island community school and also the swimming pool. We take the bookings for the rooms and manage the finances and upkeep.

The pool is 15 meters in length, the depth ranges from 0.9 - 1.5 meters. Volunteers run the pool and opening times vary. It opens on a Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Designed to bring women together We are here to educate, share, to campaign and of course to have fun. From life skills and arts and crafts to raising awareness of current affairs affecting women.
We would welcome new members to our SWRI meetings. We offer friendship, entertainment and learning new skills. We meet in the Sandwick Hall usually the first Thursday in the month at 7.30pm.
The drop-in runs most Saturdays from 2.30-4.30pm for all ages and children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult. There are lots of fun things for the children to do.
