Independent Play Therapy service for children and young people. Practitioners are fully qualified and registered with the Professional Standards Authority to offer play and creative arts therapies and each works in a non-directive, non-judgemental and person centred way. A full assessment is conducted with referrers and parents, prior to contact with the child, to ensure the appropriateness of the intervention and establish each child's needs. Referrals can be made through schools, by parents or by other professionals using the contact details above. Sessions are conducted in the Play Room at ODF, in schools or other venues, by arrangement.
