Our Lady & St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Kirkwall serves the Orkney Islands, representing the only RC parish in the archipelago within the Diocese of Aberdeen. It is a welcoming, international community with a diverse mix of people from the UK and other countries, and it warmly welcomes visitors, especially in the summer months. The church community is open to everyone, though participation in Holy Communion is reserved for those in full communion with the Catholic Church.
