Soma’s Light SCIO was established to better young people mental health in Orkney. Raise awareness and change stigma attached to self harm and suicide. We organise events where participants can discuss ill mental health and learn about local and national opportunities how to better their lives. We found raise for project to deliver mental health, self harm and suicide awareness raising programs and activities, including youth projects. We work alongside other similar minded charities, local organisations in order to reduce the high level of suicide rate in our community.
