The Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Orkney is the local governing body for the Baha'i community in Orkney, elected by local Baha'is to administer community affairs. Its responsibilities include promoting spiritual education, strengthening community life, and ensuring members contribute to the community's progress. Like other Baha'i local spiritual assemblies, it is a nine-member council that makes decisions through consultation. The Baha'is in Orkney are also involved in community activities, such as a recent celebration of the Báb and a project to develop land on Wideford Hill for a future Baha'i Temple.
