Westray Junior High school is at the centre of a vibrant island community. In the primary department, we have a lively nursery catering for eight 3 and 4 year olds, a busy infant room with 14 P1 – P2 pupils, a newly established P3-P5 classroom with 20 pupils and a hardworking P6 – P7 class with 14 pupils. In the secondary department, we cater for fifteen pupils in S1 – S4, with a wide and varied curriculum. Most of our teachers are island residents with specialists flying in daily. Papay pupils join us after P7 and travel daily by boat.
