The Orkney British Red Cross provides support at home, transport and mobility aids to help people when they face a crisis in their daily lives.

We provide unpaid carers of people with any disability/illness with:

Demand responsive transport service for elderly and disabled people.

Raise awareness and funds for disabled veterans.

With an outdoor facility for all year round playing, we offer bowling facilities for all age groups and hold various competitions. Tuition can also be arranged.

We offer a one hour swimming session for any disabled person and there carer on a Saturday evening.

Swimming sessions for the disabled, no age restrictions. You may need to bring your carer if you need extra help in the pool or getting ready. Please contact us for further details and requirements.
