Orkney Heritage Society launch an on-line opinion poll on SSEN plans

SHARE

Orkney Heritage Society has launched an on-line opinion poll on SSEN’s plans for the construction of a sub-station at Finstown and cables across Orkney.

The feedback from our members after the recent series of consultation events by SSEN was that they had grave concerns about both the scheme itself, but also the way in which SSEN seemed to be collecting the public’s views’ explained David Murdoch Vice Chair of the Society. ‘We felt that it is important that opinions are systematically collected and so we have launched this site.’

The address for the site is https://goo.gl/forms/vh0qFk8MtHjkYogO2  but it is also available from the Society’s Facebook page and web-page, and there is a live link on the Orcadian’s on-line version of this article.

The feedback form is simple to use and works on all devices. It only takes a couple of minutes to complete and will allow a detailed picture of Orcadian’s experiences of the consultation to be captured.
