Take action behind the scenes and get involved - bring your ideas, energy, and community spirit to support Marie Curie events and activities as a Fundraising Group Member.

Fundraising Group Members roll up their sleeves and make local fundraising happen. You’ll work with others to plan events, support activities, and help raise vital funds for Marie Curie in your community.

Availability: 2 hours per month
Time: Flexible to suit your schedule
Location: Orkney or Shetland Islands
Criteria: Aged 18 or over and provide x2 character references (18+, known for at least 6 months; friends, colleagues, or neighbours are all great options.

What you’ll do:
• Help plan and run local fundraising events
• Share creative ideas and lend a hand
• Engage with your local community
• Attend and actively participate in group meetings
• Advocate for and promote Marie Curie services to encourage people’s support
