As a Client Services Helpline Volunteer, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of our services. Working within a compassionate and inclusive environment, you’ll help provide high quality, person centred support to individuals seeking guidance, information, or reassurance.

This role involves:
• Supporting callers on our helpline
• Recording information accurately
• Signposting to relevant partner services
• Working collaboratively within a supportive team environment

We ideally ask for a commitment of one 4 hour shift per week, although we do appreciate that this may not always fit around everyone’s circumstances. This is a remote volunteering position.

No previous experience is required – empathy, reliability, and an ability to listen, along with a genuine desire to help are what matter most.

Training details

Full training is provided which consists of initial e-learning, then a weeklong virtual training session led by a dedicated member of the team.

Minimum age: 18
All volunteers must undertake an enhanced DBS Check, organised by the charity.

Frequency & commitment

We ask for a commitment of 4 hours per week, shifts are agreed in advance. Our Helpline runs 24/7.
