
Awareness Volunteer:
We are looking for volunteers to deliver talks about the Lighthouse charity. We currently offer two presentations (with additional resources being developed), which can be delivered either face to face or virtually, depending on what suits the client and the volunteer best. These last between 30-45 minutes and training will be provided.

Travel details
There is no expectation for our volunteers to travel for hours, travel costs are reimbursed which is outlined in our volunteer policy and agreement.

Training details
Full training is provided which entails Initial e-learning, then a scheduled meeting with the volunteer manager to run through the presentations so we can support on style and tone.

Minimum age: 18
All volunteers must undertake an enhanced DBS check, organised by the charity

Frequency & commitment
We ask that you complete a minimum of 1 talk per quarter – more if you have the time.
