Volunteer Technical Coach (remote or in-person)

Our non-profit organisation creates pathways between learning and securing a technology-based career. We are deliberate in supporting people from under-represented and low-socio-economic communities. Join us and help us to support unemployed, aspiring Technology Professionals and help someone to reach their potential.

We have opportunities for micro, skills-based volunteering, which can be completed as a one-off, one-hour engagement, where you can review and sign off a particular stage of a build, as well as more regular engagements. We have both in-person and remote volunteer opportunities available. Whatever your tech skills - Data; Security; DevOps; Cloud Infrastructure; Software Development - we can put your skills and kindness to good use, supporting a jobseeker. We create pathways between learning and technology careers for young people, female returners, mid-career re-skillers, people with disabilities, refugees and anyone else looking to launch their career in tech. We appreciate the support of existing industry professionals to support them in their pathway.

Experience required

We are looking for Technical Coaches that can coach DevOps, Software Development, Data, IT Security and Cloud projects.

Travel details

Remote projects available. In-person volunteering available in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee

Training details

We support with coaching and mentoring skills. We can also support some technical up-skilling

Frequency & commitment

As little as one-off for one hour, or full time. Opt into support when you have the time.
