This facilitator led course allows for the opportunity to practice core communication skills with a focus on expressing accurate empathy through reflective listening skills.
Course objectives:
- Observe and debrief a demonstration of the interpersonal style and core communication skills used in a helping relationship
- Practice the interpersonal style and primary core communication skills 
The training offers practice-specific knowledge and skills every worker in the drugs and alcohol sector should be developing upon entering employment.
This course is only available to those living and working within Orkney.
