After losing his 17-year-old daughter Beth to suicide in 2020, Mike joined 2 other bereaved fathers, Andy Airey and Tim Owen, to form 3 Dads Walking. Shocked by the fact that suicide is the biggest killer of under 35s in the UK, they have walked over 1,500 miles and raised £1.5 million for Papyrus Prevention of Young Suicide, campaigning for suicide prevention in schools.
