Isle Fight, the local recovery group is holding Orkney's first recovery walk to raise awareness of the challenges faced by people dealing with addiction.
The group will meet in the Town Hall foyer before moving across the the cathedral to lay flowers in remembrance of those who have lost their lives to addiction or have been affected by it.
From 1:00pm, they will walk along Victoria Street and around the Peedie Sea before returning to the cathedral via Ayre Road and Bridge Street.
Afterwards at around 3:00pm, members of the group, their family and friends will take part in a meet and greet to share their stories and experiences.
The event is open to everyone.
Isle Fight group members include Relationship Scotland Orkney and Orkney Alcohol and Drugs Team who have organised the walk.
