The Reflective Practice professional learning course is for anyone working in Community Learning and Development (CLD) who is interested in finding out more about ‘Reflective Practice’.
It aims to help participants:
- understand how ‘Reflective Practice' can help them in their professional work
- try out some practical techniques of ‘Reflective Practice’
By the end of the course, participants should be able to
- Appreciate the need for and benefit of reflection in professional practice.
- Explain the main features of Reflective Practice.
- Use three different practical techniques of reflection.
The course will be delivered over 8 weeks between August – October 2026. Participants will access the course online and most of the course can be done in your own time, at your own pace, but there will also be four online workshops to take part in.
There are two course cohorts for participants to choose from:
- Group A – Wednesdays 1-3pm on 26 August, 9 September, 23 September and 7 October
- Group B – Thursdays 6-8pm on 27 August, 10 September, 24 September and 8 October
