The Social Investment Fund offers a combination of loan and grant investment to supports Scottish charities, social enterprises and community organisations. The funding aims to help groups and organisations to grow, develop assets and strengthen their long-term sustainability.

Chris Holloway from Foundation Scotland will explain how the fund can provide between £10,000 and £250,000, with up to 25% available as a grant alongside repayable finance.

The session will cover:

  • investment for working capital
  • asset acquisition
  • business growth and capital expenditure
  • practical guidance on eligibility and the application process

The session is one of the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisation's (SCVO) Meet the Funder programme. At the session their Funding Scotland Development Officer will also share information on Funding Scotland and the support it offers as well as answer questions.
