Take part in a singing workshop with a dementia-friendly choir and find out about the benefit music can have on your health and well being.
The Mearns Singers and their instructor, your tutor Dr Irene Watt, are visiting Orkney as part of this years International Orkney International Science Festival. This workshop also offers the opportunity to find out about the EMPOWER Dementia Network, the FIND ME Dementia Mental Health project and the MELODIC music therapy project.
Tea and coffee will be provided and booking is essential.
