Join No Knives, Better Lives (NKBL) at this Orkney in-person shortened training for youth workers. It aims to enhance knowledge and develop practical skills for working with young people to ensure they grow up safely and reach their full potential.
The team will introduce current projects and resources with each participant receiving a copy of the 'Better Lives' toolkit. There will also be the chance to explore the specific challenges in our community and the opportunity to exchanging ideas, violence prevention tips and share learning.
Since 2009, NKBL has been a leading prevention, early intervention and education program run by YouthLink Scotland and funded by the Scottish Government. NKBL works in partnership with young people and practitioners to address the drivers of youth violence and promote a safer Scotland.
