Highlands and Islands Climate Festival is looking to partner with a lead organisation in Orkney to host an event where several groups came together in one. You can either work as a collaboration across many organisations or nominate yourself as the lead organisation to bring partners together.
Key Criteria
They can also provide support from a Community Development Officer and their wider team to help you to plan and deliver the event. Their one criteria is that within your event there should be time and space for a Climate Engagement workshop which we will either provide the tools or the staffing to support. Community views from that engagement will help to shape our Climate Conference on 8 October 2025.
The event must take place between 13 September to 8 October.
Your event must be environmentally sustainable - visit the 'Get Involved' section of the Highlands and Islands Climate Festival website to view their guide on Sustainable Events.
To receive funding, you must be a member of the Highlands and Islands Climate Hub. You can find more infoamtion about joining on the Highlands and Islands Climate Hub website.
Your event should bring together a wide range of groups in your area and include a range of activities.
We can support with funding including venue & equipment hire, refreshments, activities, marketing and cover some staffing and organisational costs
