The Highlands and Islands Climate Hub is offering a £150 contibution to groups and organisation to stage an event from 1 - 30 September 2026 as part of the Highlands and Islands Climate Festival.
Key Criteria
The theme for this year's festival is 'Everything Local - Eat, Walk, Cycle, Repair, Reuse, Grow, Be Local'. There will be a special emphasis on food and celebration as it is the Highlands & Islands Climate Hub's 5th Birthday. However, they will still consider all types of themed events throughout the Festival.
To submit a propsal,
- the event date/time must be confirmed by 14th August 2026 for inclusion in the Highlands & Islands Climate Festival Programme
- the event must be environmentally sustainable - see the Highlands and Islands Climate Hub guide on their website
- the events or activities must not be otherwise funded from another source
- the organisation must be a member of the Highlands and Islands Climate Hub - more information about becoming a membert can be found on their website.
