The Robertson Trust offers unrestricted or restricted revenue funding of between £20,000 and £50,000 per year, up to 5 years (typically for 3 years) to charitable organisations that support people and communities in Scotland who are living with poverty or trauma.
Key Criteria
Applications should align with one or more of the trusts four themes:
- Financial security
- Education pathways
- Work pathways
- Nurturing relationships
As not everyone who experiences poverty will also experience complex trauma, they will fund work which is either:
- focused solely on preventing or reducing poverty
- seeks to prevent or reduce poverty and complex trauma together, where the experiences are interlinked
To apply organisations should have an of over £200,000 and up to £2 million.
The process has two stages: an initial enquiry followed by a full application and assessment. Initial enquiries are accepted on a rolling basis.
