The Plugged in Communities Grant Fund supports community transport operators in Scotland to replace a community transport vehicle with a zero-emission alternative, to support community trips and services.
Key Criteria
Energy Saving Trust is an independent organisation working to address the climate emergency. They have grants of up to £75,000 available to community transport organisations to cover cost of a new fully electric community transport vehicle:
- Cars
- MPVs
- Minibuses
- Vans
Vehicles must be zero-emission and fully electric.
Funding also covers any necessary accessibility adaptations and charging infrastructure up to a total grant award of £95,000.
