The Strategic Investment Fund focuses on larger-scale, multi-partner projects that help alleviate fuel poverty and improve skills and employability, delivering lasting benefits for communities across the north of Scotland.
Key Criteria
Organisations can apply for grants of between £1m and £5m for projects that are:
- Regional – benefiting multiple communities across a wider geographic area
- Strategic – aligned with regional priorities and addressing significant challenges
- Sustainable – attracting additional investment and delivering enduring benefits
- Collaborative – bringing together organisations, sectors and expertise
- Transformational – creating substantial and lasting positive change for communities
The fund aims to give organisations the opportunity to develop longer-term proposals and partnerships.
There is a two-stage application process involving an initial Note of Interest, followed by submission of a business case from shortlisted projects.
