The Unlocking Potential Fund supports museums to address issues that are currently preventing them from building financial sustainability. This can include outdated systems, poor website functionality, or a skills deficit. Both Accredited and non-Accredited museums can apply for grants between £10,000 and £100,000.
Key Criteria
Museums Galleries Scotland want to know what you will be able to do as a result of having addresssed the issue and how will this unclock potential and put the museum in a stronger financial postition.
Potential applicants must submit a short expression of interest to the Museums Futures Team.
This is a rolling fund, and will remain open until February 2026.
