With grants of up to £100,000, the Unlocking Potential Fund supports the strategic development of museums by addressing issues that are currently preventing the from moving forward.
Key Criteria
The fund helps museums to tackle the issues which are preventing them from reaching financial sustainability. These can include outdated or inefficient systems, lack of expertise, or other barriers to financial stability.
Museums can apply for between £10,000 and £100,000. Projects can last up to 2 years and must begin within 6 months of the award date.
It is as a rolling fund, meaning you can apply at any time once you are ready until the closing date or all the funding has been allowcated. Applications will be assessed on a continual basis, with decisions provided within 8 weeks of submission.
