The Wise Music foundation aims to help a broad range of domestic and international charitable causes, not necessarily music-related ones. It provides financial support for people experiencing hardship, distress and illness, with a focus on children, the homeless and people living in poverty.
Key Criteria
The foundation has been donating significant sums of money for over 30 years. The recipients are primarily (but not exclusively) children, the elderly and the disabled.
Their past charitable activity covers a wide variety of feilds, for example:
- education
- cultural activities
- arts and heritage
- health issues
- overseas famine relief
- food banks
Trustees meet on a quarterly basis, usually in the third month of each quarter, to consider all applications.
