Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC) is coming to Orkney and the team will be running a series of events.
Join them at one of their Social Shorewatch drop-in sessions. On the day you will be able to meet the team, ask any questions and talk to other watchers:

- Stromness, 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Monday 4 August 2025
- Hoxa Head, 10:00am - 1:00pm
Tuesday 5 August 2025:
- The Gloup, 12 noon - 2:00pm
- Broch of Gurness, 4:30pm - 6:30pm
Wednesday 6 August 2025
- Yesnaby, 10:00am - 12:00m noon
- Stromness, 1pm - 3pm
The team is also holding their next training session. Sign up to learn how to identify different species and about volunteering as part of Shorewatch. It is also an opportunity for a refresher for anyone who has been involved before.
