In return for a donation, Kirkwall Bid is looking for volunteers from local community groups and organisations to help them run their Games on The Green event.
Games on The Green takes place on the St Magnus Kirk Green everyday from Thursday 10 July to Thursday 17 July, from 11am to 5pm. Giant outdoor and lawn games will be set up for the event to celebrate the International Island Games and welcome athletes, officials and visitors to Kirkwall.
The days are divided into slots with the morning one running from 10:30am - 2:00pm and the afternoon from 2:00pm - 5:30pm. There are a total of 16 slots available and Kirkwall BID is looking for 2 people from a group or organisation for each one. You can request more than one slot and they will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
