Game Therapy UK is a national charity that uses tabletop gaming to support groups at risk of loneliness and isolation and to aid in the wellbeing recovery of individuals that might already be struggling with the challenges they face.
One of their local volunteers run a monthly open role-playing sessions at the Kirkwall library. With the holidays fast approaching, they are looking to put on additional gaming sessions as well as more open sessions at the library. They are inviting any groups and organisations that might be interested in running a session specifically for their clients or members over the next few weeks to get in touch. They can be tailored to suit the needs, interests, and abilities of attendees and take place in the Kirkwall library or at any other another suitable location.
