The Integration Joint Board is looking for someone, or some people, to join the Board to represent the views of service users. The importance of this is to ensure that any decision taken by the Board has the views of patients/individuals who use services.

The Integration Joint Board is responsible for planning and delivering community health and social care services in Orkney. A list below of services can be found on Orkney Islands Council website. The Board is made up from voting members, a range of professional advisors and a range of stakeholder advisors. More information on Membership can also be found on the Orkney Islands Council website.

Anyone who is a patient/individual who uses services (i.e. registered with a GP or Dentist, a care experienced individual or anyone who has involvement with any health and care service) could be a service user representative on the Board and could help shape how services are delivered in Orkney which helps improve outcomes for the Orkney community.
