The Orkney Children’s Trust is a small, voluntary organisation formed in 1984.
With the help of generous donations from various locally based organisations and businesses, we provide small grants to children and young people up to age 18, resident in Orkney who are disadvantaged due to:
- financial hardship
- disability
- behavioral or psychological problems
- deprivation
- illness
- distress
- abuse or neglect
All grant applications are made through appropriate third-party referrals, for example from Social Services, Health Service, Education or the Voluntary Sector.
