Every step we make towards beating cancer relies on every pound, every hour and every person.

Action Medical Research is on a mission to save and change children's lives through medical research, developing treatments, vaccinations and cures.

We are members of the Church of Scotland Guild Edinburgh who meet in the church once a month on a Monday - at night in the summer and in the afternoon during the winter.

We are a community run local village hall offering regular events, such as yoga and pilates classes, traditional dancing, jive dancing, table tennis and a film club.

The hall provides services for the community. Badminton, craft, senior citizen and youth clubs as well as the W.I, Brownies and Guides all meet in the hall.

Firth Community Association run the community centre. It offers function rooms including the hall and catering for local charities, clubs and organisations.

We are a group of Rainbow/Brownie/Guide parents who meet 4 times per year to oversee the running and maintenance of the Guide Hall. New faces are welcome - please get in touch through Facebook.

The group supports the new children's home by raising funds for extras such as holiday activities, travel costs…

Greener Orkney was set up to advance environmental protection by reducing Orkney’s carbon footprint, and to raise awareness of climate change among the community.

We help people in Stromness with mobility problems to get out and about. This could be shopping, socialising or important appointments.

Home-Start Orkney is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under five years of age.

We work entirely in the country of Bangladesh amongst the girls and women in need. Our activities in the UK are only to raise funds.
