The Smiddy Museum is a restored blacksmith's shop, most famously in St. Margaret's Hope, Orkney, that showcases historical tools and equipment used for blacksmithing and farm work. The museum also contains archives of local photos and documents that provide insight into island life and local history. There is a similar museum in Strachur, Scotland, that offers a glimpse into Scottish rural life and is often a working museum with demonstrations.
