The aims of the charity are to help and support older people who live in their own homes, to retain dignity, choice and independence and to enjoy a good quality of life…

Braeburn Court is a purpose-built facility in St Margaret's Hope designed to provide a housing support/care at home support service to older and vulnerable people in their own tenancies.

The Orkney British Red Cross provides support at home, transport and mobility aids to help people when they face a crisis in their daily lives.

Clan Cancer Support provides emotional and practical support to anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis, including family members, carers and close friends.

We provide unpaid carers of people with any disability/illness with emotional support, information, advice, advocacy, carers assessment, support group, Time to Live funding…

The hall provides services for the community. Badminton, craft, senior citizen and youth clubs as well as the W.I, Brownies and Guides all meet in the hall.

We are a voluntary organisation whose aim is to help people in Orkney with dementia.

Sunnybrae Centre is s Very Sheltered Housing Complex set up to enable individuals to live in a community setting through the provision of quality care and support services.

The club is open to everyone aged 50 year olds and over living in Flotta – it is a place to socialize especially when on your own.

Friendship club is an opportunity for those over 60 to share in a cup of tea and enjoy quizzes, singing, talks and fun. It is followed by a three course meal. 11.00am to 1.00pm

Day care for older people, to support older people with a focus on reablement. To encourage service users to develop confidence and skills to enable them to live at home independently.

We offer meals, 1st Wednesday of the month and every 3rd Wednesday, alternate Wednesday Tea, Fruit Bread and Biscuits and also when possible entertainment.

We help people in Stromness with mobility problems to get out and about. This could be shopping, socialising or important appointments.

We are committed to creating a sensitive and caring culture based on empowerment where the well-being and quality of life for residents are of the utmost importance.

With an outdoor facility for all year round playing, we offer bowling facilities for all age groups and hold various competitions. Tuition can also be arranged.

Marengo Centre is a community facility serving the residents of Burray and South Ronaldsay consisting of a lounge meeting area, community laundry and an ensuite double bedroom.

Orkney Dance & Fitness Ltd provides a variety of Dance and Fitness activities to all ages in the West Mainland and online.
